Testimonials
“After attending the Mentorship Program and working with Mike Valley this summer my level of play and confidence took a huge jump. The way Mike combines both the on ice technique with the mental side of the game is a combination that is hard to come by in other camps. The mentorship camp was able to take me from being a good college goaltender to an elite one. I look forward to working with Mike for years to come!” ~ Josh Robinson, Michigan Tech Huskies, NCAA

Mike’s teaching strategies and knowledge of the game is unbelievable. The introduction of his different innovations of conditioning and technique has helped me increase my speed and on ice mentality immensely. He separates himself above other goalie coaches as he is always available and willing to help you with your game throughout the entire season. I fully intend on working with Mike for the rest of my career.” ~ Cole Holowenko (Chilliwack Bruins) on the Mentorship Program

“Mike Valley has provided the best coaching I have ever had. While there are many coaches who have knowledge of the game, the position and the ability to demonstrate drills, there are few coaches, if any that have the passion for goaltending and the ability to communicate that Mike has. I was lucky to be able to participate in Mike’s week- long mentorship program. This program was great because not only did I get better at goaltending through the hours of teaching, ice time, and drills but I became a better goalie mentally by talking about goaltending informally with Mike. He is able to quickly figure out a goaltenders strength’s and weaknesses and zero in on how to improve a student’s game efficiently and in a positive environment. He does not let a student “get by” – he makes you work on something until the problem is fixed.” ~ Sean Lawrence, Dallas Stars Midget AAA

“This past summer I had the privledge to work with Mike Valley and Brian Elliott in Wisconsin. Their combined experience and knowledge of the game helped to not just tighten the technical aspect of my game but also my mental, read, and reacting skills as well. Mike made sure that the camp was not only mentally and physically challenging but also allowed time for bonding with fellow goalies Cole, Chris, and Adam. The feed back I received from Mike also continued after the camp was over through the various video that was taken during the camp which gave me more time to work on my weaknesses at home. I look forward to working with Mike and company in the future.” ~ Luke Siemens, Everett Silvertips WHL

“I’ve been going to Mike Valley only for a year but I could tell right away that he helped my game in so many ways. Working with Mike has helped me develop a simpler and more pro like game that has turned me into a ligitimate NHL prospect.” ~ Chris Rawlings, Northeastern NCAA
