A.J. Bucchino
COACHING BACKGROUND - A.J. Bucchino was born in White Plains, New York where he began playing youth hockey. He moved through the ranks, recruited to play at Tilton Prep School, Avon Old Farms Prep School and finished high school playing junior A with the Des Moines Buccaneers in the USHL. After a season at the University of New Hampshire, A.J. transferred to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls where he won several goaltending awards, including two time NCAA All-American.
PLAYING BACKGROUND - Bucchino has attended American Hockey League Training Camps, played in the East Coast Hockey League, Central Hockey League and Southern Professional Hockey League. After four years at the professional level, Bucchino has decided to share his experiences and knowledge with other willing and growing goaltenders.
A.J. trained under the superb guidance of Mike Valley and the Elite Goalies philosophy during his professional years. He is currently the Goalie Consultant for the Des Moines Buccaneers in the USHL, and a Head Instructor for ProHybrid Training. A.J. has 9 years of goalie training experience.
